The Desota, located across from Whole Foods Plaza at 2nd Street and Central Avenue in downtown Sarasota, is a 10-story mixed-use development that adds 180 apartments and approximately 23,000 SF of ground-floor retail to the outer edge of the downtown core.
Designed to strengthen the pedestrian fabric of the district, the project introduces active street-level uses that engage directly with surrounding sidewalks and adjacent amenities. The residential component is integrated above, creating a layered urban environment that supports both daily living and neighborhood activity.
